Your new company

Come and join this small, specialised and well-known fabrication company based in Western Sydney, near Penrith. They have been operating for over 20 years, with a great reputation for quality, service, and being able to deliver a range of custom orders to their customers each and every time.

These guys know their stuff! No two days are the same, there is no production/assembly type work here. The orders are custom made and range from small fabrication jobs through to large industrial, steel, heavy fab and structural projects.

Your new role

We are looking for a 1st class boilermaker or even a welder/sheetmetal worker who is happy to do a range of tasks, from fabrication works, through to heavy welding and larger projects. Given the nature of the work, you could be making any type of custom order from base frames, cabinets, cages, equipment for waste and hydraulic industries, stairs, platforms, beams etc.

You will be able to read and interpret drawings and plans and be able to work autonomously.

What will you be doing in your new role

  • TIG or MIG welding 
  • Small to large fabrication projects
  • heavy welding, mild steel and structural works
  • Fabrication of stock and custom made products
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • Reading, interpreting and working from drawings

What do you need to be successful

  • Trade qualified Boilermaker or similar
  • Confident with MIG and TIG welding
  • Experienced in fabrication and working from drawings 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • Experience working within a varied production environment  
  • You are reliable, punctual, appreciate working in a friendly, flexible, and fast-paced environment.
