Our client is a leading Australian owned company in height safety and fall protection.  They design, manufacture and install safety access systems across various industries, through their Australia wide network of branches.

A newly created opportunity exists for an experienced Estimator to join their organisation. We seek a highly motivated individual with proven sales and estimating / quoting experience.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Preparation and review of tender quote submissions to prospective clients
  • Review and analyse tender specifications, drawings and relevant conditions where necessary
  • Follow up of quotes, tender submissions and client orders
  • Adhere to budgets and KPI's inline with company requirements 
  • Assistance with significant projects where required

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Estimating / Quoting experience in the construction or similar industry
  • Experience with using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit or similar software will be highly regarded
  • Strong technical skills, ability to read and interpret plans
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised with the capability to prioritise and meet deadlines, outstanding time management skills 
  • Process driven with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal 

We are currently looking for 1 more Estimator to join the team. If you have technical skills in reading drawings or plans and wanting a career change, or perhaps you have a sales background looking at a more technical role this could be for you.
