Forklift Driver trades assistant - Printing Industry

Our client in the Hawkesbury area are a company leader in their field. Currently there is a requirement for a Forklift Driver to join their friendly team. The suitable applicants will have full access to site facilities which include a gym, swimming pool and tennis court.

 

Your new role:

Forklift Driving Assistant to join this company’s growing team working on a rotating roster.

You will be fully trained in all aspects of the role with regular training refreshers, working in a fully air-conditioned area.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Forklift driving counter balance forklift
  • Ensuring the stock is always for the job to the correct size weight and sufficient to complete job
  • Label and store reel butts as soon as possible to reduce spoilage
  • Operation of pallet jack
  • Loading paper reels into trolleys 2 person operation
  • Loading and unloading of pallets
  • General maintenance of guards and slide frames wash up trays and keeping area generally clean
  • General house keeping
  • Packing items off the end of a conveyor
  • Shrink wrap pallets

 

What do you need to be successful?

  • A good working attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • High attention to detail
  • No lifting restrictions as you may be required to lift up to 10kgs
  • 2 checkable previous working references
  • Reliable, punctual and hard working with the ability to commit to a 5 day a week role
