Your new role - Inventory Controller

Your mission, should you choose to accept would be to manage, procure, source, and control all materials/components to ensure the manufacturing team has what they need, and ultimately, the customers never have any delays with their orders.

A typical day working here;

Once you have been inducted, walked around the site, and introduced to your team you will then be shown the ropes of your new role.

This role is varied, you will be based in the office with the production team right outside your door. Teamwork is critical and being able to go into the warehouse to find items is not uncommon. You will manage receiving and despatch

Some key tasks include;

  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing parts and consumables for the workshop equipment 
  • Maintain and manage stock levels 
  • Maintain records and keep the ERP updated
  • Entering and raising purchase orders 
  • Locate, investigate and negotiate pricing and terms 
  • Report and investigate stock discrepancies 
  • Manage the receiving and despatch team
  • Ability to help in the office and warehouse if required

What do you need;

You do not need any formal qualifications, experience in a similar role and your awesome attitude will serve you well here.

  • A great attitude, work ethic, honest & trustworthy
  • Takes pride in your work with a focus on quality & service
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar inventory controller role 
  • If you have experience using Netsuite or similiar CRM's that would be great, however, training will be provided.
  • Manufacturing or a Production background with a good understanding of mechanical parts, fittings, hydraulics, and similiar equipment would be preferred
  • Excellent communication
