Marketing Specialist

The Company:

Our client, based in Western Sydney, is a pioneer and a pace-setter in their industry. Through innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit, they have established themselves as a leading supplier of boutique bathroom fittings. They design, prototype, manufacture and retail products that set new industry standards. An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Specialist to join their friendly team, who will be responsible for the full marketing function of the business.

The Role:

In this newly-created role, you will conceive of, and execute, an effective marketing strategy for the business (focussing primarily on digital channels) from the ground up, with the aim of building brand awareness, generating quality leads, and ultimately driving revenue. Specifically, you will be:

  • Developing and executing a full marketing strategy for the business
  • Reviewing and optimising social media platform content and initiatives
  • Updating and optimising web content and SEO regularly
  • Producing marketing collateral both digital and traditional
  • Developing and implementing direct marketing initiatives such as email campaigns
  • Driving the launch of new products and producing associated collateral

In additional to the above, you will occasionally need to assist in other areas of the business as needed, such as assisting the sales team by taking the occasional customer call or helping out in the warehouse on some occasions.

Essential Criteria:

You will possess the following skills and experience as minimum:

  • At least 2 year’s hands-on experience in a similar, full-function marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, and producing marketing collateral
  • Competence with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A driver’s licence and own transport as public transport is limited in the area
  • A great attitude with the flexibility to assist in other areas of this business as needed

Not essential, but highly regarded, will be any of the following: tertiary qualifications in marketing, graphic design capabilities, internal sales, CAD drawing and warehousing experience. 

More Information:

This is a permanent role located at Minchinbury, paying up to $90,000 + super with working hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday, and an early-mark on Fridays (8am to 3pm). As the successful candidate will be working within a small but friendly team, it’s essential they’re a team player with a flexible attitude.
