TIG Welder | MIG Welder | Boilermaker

Come and join this small, specialised and well known fabrication company based in Western Sydney, near Penrith. They have been operating for over 20 years, with a great reputation for quality, service and being able to deliver a range of custom orders to their customers.

These guys know their stuff! No two days are the same, there is no production / assembly type work here. The orders are custom made and range from small fabrication jobs through to large industrial, steel, heavy fab and heavy welding projects. 

Your new role

We are looking for a 1st class welder / boilermaker or even a sheetmetal worker who is happy to do a range of tasks, from fabrication works, through to heavy welding and larger projects. Given the nature of the work you could be making any type of custom order from base frames, cabinets, cages, equipment for waste and hydraulic industries, stairs, platforms etc. You will be able to read and interpret drawings and plans and be able to work autonomously.

What will you be doing in your new role

  • TIG or MIG welding 
  • Small to large fabrication projects
  • heavy welding, mild steel and 
  • Preparing and working from JIGs where required
  • Fabrication of stock and custom made products
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • Reading and working from drawings
  • Work in a friendly group production environment
  • Work in a clean and safe environment

What do you need to be successful

  • Trade qualified Sheetmetal / boilermaker or welder
  • Experienced in MIG and TIG welding
  • Experienced in fabrication and working from drawings 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • Experience working within a production environment  
  • Ability to work regular overtime
  • You are reliable, punctual and enjoy working in a friendly, flexible and fast paced environment.
