Warehouse Storesperson

Our client is looking for a warehouse storesperson to join their team located in Rydalmere. The hours are 8am - 4pm with an hourly rate $26.14

They are extremely customer focused and are seeking a new team member to join their growing team.

Your new role:

  • General housekeeping and responsible for cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse
  • Assist in the training of other warehouse personnel as required
  • Receive completed orders from the National Distribution Centre on a daily basis
  • Record inbound purchase order details and record manually and electronically utilising current JCI systems
  • Customer service both over the phone and face to face
  • Quality checking of orders
  • Picking and packing of items from picking slip
  • Book freight for redirected purchase orders utilising online portal belonging to JCI freight broker and ensure timely collection and correct service level is selected based on customer requirements.
  • Data entry and basic understanding of excel
  • Load & unload delivery and pick up vehicles
  • Ensure new stock received is accounted for and put away accordingly
  • Perform cycle counting, stock consolidation and replenishment's as required
  • Always maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

To be successful for the role you will require: 

  • Previous warehousing experience
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft suite
  • Current Australian Forklift licence 
  • 100 Points of ID to show your working rights in Australia 
  • The ability to lift up to 25kgs as manual handling is involved
  • 2 Checkable working references
