About the Client

Our client is a Global manufacturer of machinery who has been around for over 50 years. Their brand is high quality and well respected within their market.

Their products are sold directly to the end user in commercial settings. 

As a business, the management team is highly supportive and is well placed to provide ongoing support, training and any help you need to earn large bonuses. They have designed their bonus structure to reward their team!


About the Role

This is a largely autonomous B2B sales role. You will have a portfolio of Tier 1, 2 or 3 clients to manage, but will predominantly be hunting for new business with the end users of their machinery.

Your new role will include:

  • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest
  • Planning approaches and pitches 
  • Promote and sell products & services with in designated areas
  • Cold calling within your market &/or geographic area to create a robust pipeline 
  • Meet potential clients by growing & leveraging your network
  • Setting up meetings between client decision makers 
  • Work with internal team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs 
  • Participate in planning the pricing


About You

My client is looking for someone that is a new business hunter and not afraid to knock on doors and make phone calls to generate new leads. 

We want someone that will have the drive to go out and win new business.

Ideally you will also have the following:

  • Experience as a sales rep on the road, selling B2B 
  • Strong closing techniques
  • Great customer service abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Technical and solution-based sales approach
  • Good computer literacy
