Administration Assistant

About The Client:

With over 25 years of experience, our client manufactures and distributes filtration products to a variety of industries worldwide.

Due to their success and continued growth, they now have a vacancy for an Administration Assistant to join their small friendly team based in Minchinbury.
About The Role
Supporting the busy production manager, duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Answering phones
  • Processing orders and checking against quotes
  • Converting orders into invoices (MYOB)
  • Following up on deliveries and freight
  • Updating customers on orders and deliveries
  • Phone and email follow-up on purchase orders and overdue payments
  • Data entry
  • Booking freight
  • Printing labels and invoices
  • Filing
  • Assisting and helping out in other areas when required
  • Any other adhoc administrative tasks as needed

About you:
Our client is looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced office all-rounder who can work full-time hours Monday – Friday in the office (part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate). There is no WFH available for this role.
Our client is looking for the following key skills:
  • Previous MYOB experience is strongly preferred (basic to intermediate experience needed)
  • Experience working within a warehouse environment or manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Basic - Intermediate)
  • A current driver's license and your own reliable vehicle (limited public transport)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills and phone manner
  • A good attitude
  • Must be punctual and reliable 
  • Takes initiative
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • A willingness to learn and take direction
