The Role:
Working 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday in a permanent role, you will be fully responsible for the day to day operation of the CNC laser (Alpha), and giving clear job completion ETA's and updates.
You'll be assembling switchboards, using power and hand tools, reading drawings, operating a forklift (if licenced) and welding, if you have welding experience.
Each day you will:
- Set and operate the CNC Laser
- Assemble switchboards
- Use power and hand tools - Drills, Grinder, Polishing Wheel
- Read and interpret drawings
- LF Forklift Licence and experience is REQUIRED
- Welding skills - Advantage
- Ensure your workspace is tidy through general housekeeping
- Assist in other areas of the business as needed
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will possess at a minimum the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience operating a CNC laser cutter is essential
- Current LF forklift ticket and experience
- You will be reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
