CNC Operator
About Our Client:Our client is a well-established business producing high-quality products, with a strong focus on developing their team. They're located in the Blacktown area.
The Role:
Working 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday in a permanent role, you will operate a variety of CNC machines (training provided), as well as a counterbalance forklift when required (if licenced). You will hit the ground running using your existing CNC experience, but will eventually be trained up on a range of other CNC machines including lasers, brake presses, lathes, machining centres and robotic welders.
Each day you will:
- Set and operate various CNC machines (lasers/lathes/machining centres/robotic welder etc)
- Ensure quality using regular checks and a final inspection
- Operate a counterbalance forklift (if licenced)
- Ensure your workspace is tidy through general housekeeping
- Assist in other areas of the business as needed
The package: - Full-time permanent role
- Monday – Friday 6 am – 2:30 pm
- $40ph + super + regular OT
- On-site parking
- Supportive, team-based environment where you will be trained on a variety of equipment, including CNC
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will possess at a minimum the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience operating a CNC machine is essential
- Current LF forklift ticket is strongly preferred
- You will be reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
