About the Client Our client is a well-established company based in Eastern Creek. They are a manufacturer of various metal products and they are busy.
They deliver their products all across the country, primarily through their own fleet of trucks and trailers.
About the Role Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service team member to join their busy operations team.
Your responsibility will be to be the primary point of contact for valued customers by coordinating customer communications, managing expectations and going above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently and ensuring customers are kept up to date with any changes.
This is a busy role and one with regularly changing priorities.
On top of this, next year, you will be a part of projects to uplift and improve the function.
Your new role will include: - Responding to customer enquiries through phone and email
- Making outbound calls to ensure all parties are on the same page
- Confirming delivery arrangements and sharing any changes
- Processing orders and any change requests
- Generating and distributing any customer correspondence
About You We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Customer Service professional who is friendly, personable and has expert skills in juggling multiple priorities and ever changing and fast paced environment.
This role will suit a can-do person who enjoys being that go to person and assisting in all areas as needed. It will ideally suit someone who has experience in a similar role.
Our client is looking for the following key skills: - A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Customer Service Role role
- Knowledge of the manufacturing or construction products supply industry
- Ability to communicate with and influence at different levels
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bright, energetic and enthusiastic demeanour
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Results orientated with a focus on customer service
