About the company:
Our client captures photo images, video and 3D scans of different stages of construction. They're part of a global network that offers a high-tech and innovative solution to construction documentation.

The role:
Working Monday to Friday, you will travel throughout Sydney, attending different construction sites throughout the day and documenting different stages of construction using cameras, scanners, and associated lighting equipment. This is not a creative or artistic role - you will be trained in particular processes and procedures for setting up the equipment in order to capture the required data in a structured way. You will then upload the scans/images/data into custom software, to be made available to the customer.

  • Driving through greater Sydney, attending different construction sites, often for early starts (between 6am and 7am)
  • Setting up lighting equipment, cameras, and scanners
  • Uploading all data into custom software
  • Attending the office in Emu Plains daily
  • Completing training, inductions, and reviews
  • Coordinating with third-party personnel on site
  • Reviewing construction drawings or CAD to prepare for upcoming site visits

Essential criteria:
As full training is provided in this role, we're able to consider applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, however the following criteria are essential:

  • The unrestricted right to live and work in Australia
  • A current Australian driver's licence (driving record will be requested)
  • White card (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A track record of reliability and punctuality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven time management and organisational skills
  • Solid proficiency using a computer
  • A good level of physical fitness will be required as you will be walking through construction sites all day, carrying equipment

Applicants also possessing the following will be at an advantage:

  • The ability to read construction drawings
  • Any construction site-related experience
  • Photography or drone-related experience

The package:

  • $70,000 + Super starting salary
  • Fully maintained company vehicle
  • Fuel, tolls, laptop, and phone will be provided or compensated
  • Full training provided
  • Potential to upskill into other areas such as Drone Pilot, 3D Laser Scanner Operator, Time-lapse Camera Installer, and Videographer
