About the company Our client is a growth-focused Australian agribusiness supplying fresh produce to major grocery retailers including Coles and Woolworths. With operations spanning production, retail, wholesale, and export, we invest in brand, innovation, and new revenue channels. People enjoy working in this team because the work is commercially meaningful — you see your decisions come to life in-store
About the role This is a newly created, genuine commercial position — not a coordinator role. You will own retailer relationships, drive the sales and marketing calendar, and connect our premium brand to the buying desks of Australia's major food retailers. You will report directly to the Head of Commercial with a clear line of sight to the CEO and SLT.
Duties - Manage day-to-day relationships with retailer buying and marketing teams
- Drive the promotional calendar end-to-end: planning, submissions, and in-store activation
- Lead range review and joint business planning with category insights
- Collaborate with an external creative agency on trade marketing and brand activation
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends using category data tools
Skills & experience - 5+ years' experience in FMCG, fresh produce, or a major retailer supplier environment
- Solid understanding of Coles, Woolworths, or independent retailer systems and processes
- Commercial acumen across margin, trade spend, and range review processes
- Strong communicator — confident presenting to buyers and aligning with operations
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
Culture People enjoy working in this team because the growth agenda is real and the access to leadership is genuine. This is a business where your commercial instincts are respected and your contribution is visible from day one. You will help define what great looks like in this function — not inherit someone else's version of it.
Benefits - Competitive salary package + superannuation
- Permanent, full-time role — long-term stability
- Monday–Friday schedule — genuine work-life balance
- Direct access to CEO and senior leadership team
- Newly created role — shape the function from the ground up
- North-West Sydney location — avoid CBD commute
- Ambitious growth agenda across retail, wholesale, and export
- Business spans production, retail, wholesale, and export
