Our client is a market leading manufacturer and distributor of steel water tanks, working out of their production facility at Smithfield. An opportunity has opened up for an experienced counterbalance forklift operator to join the team.
What will you do:
- Safely operate counterbalance forklifts.
- Load and unload company owned and third party vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and tidy yard.
- Stage and prepare stock for pickup.
- Assist in load restraint where required (ratchet straps).
- Comply with company WHS policies and procedures.
What do you need to succeed?
- LF license with minimum 12 months experience loading and unloading.
- Experience moving non-palletised loads will be highly regarded.
- Ability to read, identify and check off items from a pick list through the companies inventory management app.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective and open communication skills.
- Be reliable and punctual.
