Exciting new role to manage HR & WHS for an established and growing manufacturing business. About the Client Join a family-owned business that has been a leader in the Agricultural Industry for nearly 30 years.
Based in Blacktown, they manufacture on site in a clean manufacturing environment and the office is well laid out, spacious, with floor to ceiling windows and more importantly, this business has a history of long tenures within their team.

About the Role This is a newly created role and our client has an opportunity for an experienced HR & WHS Manager to join their friendly and professional Australian team of around 60 people.
Your responsibility will be to deliver operational HR & WHS advice to line managers across the business and provide the full range of HR functions and processes including WHS projects.
Please note: This is an office based role and does not offer any WFH flexibility.
Your new role will include: - Providing advice to managers regarding award interpretation
- Assisting managers with performance management and performance reviews
- Acting as return to work coordinator (Only a few claims at present)
- Build, maintain and improve the WHS management system
- Workplace inspections, audits and suggest WHS improvements
- Work with management in developing, managing and implementation of safety procedures and processes
- Recruitment, selection and on-boarding activities
- Other HR and WHS duties as needed
About You We are looking for an experienced and dedicated HR Manager who is friendly, professional and takes pride in building strong relationships across the business.
This role will suit a can-do person who has experience in a similar newly created role within the manufacturing industry.
Our client is looking for the following key skills: - A minimum of 3 years experience in a HR role within a manufacturing environment
- A minimum Cert IV WHS and/or HR qualifications
- A current driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle are essential to get to and from work due to a lack of public transport
- Experience setting up a HR &/or WHS function for a manufacturing business
- Experience writing driver safety or lone-worker programs
- The ability to communicate professionally and confidently at all levels
- A high level of motivation and dedication
- A collaborative, yet decisive approach
