Our client is a market leading manufacturer and distributor of steel water tanks, based in Smithfield. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced MR licensed truck driver to join the team in an ongoing capacity.
What you will do:
- Deliver water tanks to designated locations.
- Review run-sheet for the day's deliveries.
- Perform pre-start checks on vehicle and report any issues or damages.
- Safe and effective restraint of loads.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Lifting and moving rainwater tanks with correct manual handling technique.
What do you need to succeed? - Minimum 2 years experience driving MR Trucks.
- Unrestricted MR License.
- Current first aid certificate (Desired but not essential)
- Experience driving with a trailer.
- Willingness to provide a clean driving record.
- Ability and willingness to work with an offsider.
- Strong commitment to road safety.
- Understand written and verbal instructions.
- Show independent problem solving abilities and initiative.
