Production Hand

Our client is a long-standing and successful manufacturer of steel water tanks, based in Smithfield NSW. Due to continued increase in business demands, they are looking to expand their team!

The role:
Assist in the production of steel water tanks, completing a range of different assembly tasks. To begin with, you will start with one section of the production process and as time goes on you will have the opportunity to be trained in all other aspects of production. This role does not require any prior experience and is perfect for school leavers, people looking at a career change, or experienced production workers.

What qualities and experience are we looking for?
- Fit and healthy; this is a manual labour-based role and you'll need to be able to bend, twist, squat, and kneel constantly without issue
- You will be confident with the safe use of power, pneumatic and hand tools
- You'll be an eager learner who's happy to move through different sections of the factory as needs change
- You will be friendly, have a stable work history, and a strong focus on teamwork
- You'll have a proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- A stable work history will be well-regarded, regardless of industry
- A clear drug and alcohol screen will be needed prior to starting in this role
