The company:Our client is a well-established manufacturer and distributor in Emu Plains. Their continued growth has seen an opportunity arise within their team for an experienced Production Operator to join their friendly and professional team in an ongoing role. Full training will be provided.
With hours of 7am- 3:30pm Mon-Thu and 7am-1pm Fri, you will work full-time hours in a casual role with a clear path to permanency. This role pays an hourly rate of $35 plus super, with an immediate start available.
About the role: Your duties will be varied, but will include at a minimum:
- Understanding of deadlines and efficient work practices
- High level of Detail and Accuracy
- Able to communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing to the team
- Forklift Licence
- Safe Work handling
- Daily collection/monitoring of incoming cut-to-size orders –being aware of customer requirements outlined on PickingSlip
- Allocation of orders to Production Staff
- Coordination/Allocation/Completion of Rush Cut to size orders
- Coordination/Prioritisation of Cut to size orders during peak times
- Production of Goods
- Recommend/Implement Efficiencies/Improvements within
- Production
- Leads/Supports Production staff to complete tasks on time
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
Selection criteria: - LF forklift ticket (counterbalance and High reach) - Essential
- Recent police check or willingness to obtain one - Essential
- Warehousing and production-related experience
- A current driver's licence and own vehicle is Essential as public transport is limited
- A fantastic attitude with a track record of reliability will put you in good stead
- Whilst this role is not overly physical, there is regular lifting and a requirement to bend and crouch at times, please consider your suitability for this role before applying
