Production Operators

Our Client is a long standing and successful manufacturing company based in South Windsor. They produce and sell environmentally friendly plastic water tanks. They are looking for someone to join their team and learn from the ground up, the production, storage and distribution of their products.

This role provides an immediate start with full training to the successful candidate(s). Working Monday to Friday from 6am - 2pm, you'll work as part of a team and receive two weeks of structured training whilst you work.

What will you do?
- Manual handling, loading 25kg packs of raw material into molds.
- Working at heights, loading the molds from a gantry (wearing a harness)
- Removing finished tanks from molds before storing the finished product - once the product has baked and cooled move it into designated storage areas ready for despatch

What do you need to succeed?
- A great attitude to your work and track record of reliability
- Strong work ethic, happy to get in and get your hands dirty (Literally)
- Not afraid of higher than ambient temps, this product is baked in an oven and the work area can be quite warm as a result
- Forklift license (LF) and working at heights certifications are desirable but not essential
- The flexibility to work the afternoon shift on occasion (instead of day shift) would be advantageous although is not essential. An additional loading would be paid
- A clear drug and alcohol screen will be needed prior to starting in this role
