Your new company: Our Client is a trusted 3rd-generation family-operated and experienced Flooring company in Australia. They offer a broad range of superior quality products and deliver unparalleled service to their Customers. Due to a recent resignation, they now require the skills of an experienced Production Team Leader to join the team.
Your new role: - Manufacture cut-to-size orders with a high level of precision, quality, and attention to detail.
- Plan, coordinate, and prioritise daily production requirements, including urgent orders, to consistently achieve 100% DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) targets.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and day-to-day support to production team members, leading by example and maintaining high performance standards.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Sales and Customer Service teams, ensuring excellent internal service and collaboration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised production environment, taking proactive ownership of housekeeping and safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain documented time standards across key product lines to support operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and workplace safety.
- Safely operate forklifts and promote adherence to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures throughout the production area.

- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Physically fit and comfortable in an active role that involves heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working on your feet throughout the day.
- Show respect and professionalism to colleagues across all departments, including Sales and Customer Service teams who rely on your support.
- Motivated to develop your career and progress into a Leadership or Management role within the next few years.
- Bring a positive, solutions-focused attitude, with the ability to resolve issues proactively and efficiently when challenges arise.
- Must be willing to undergo a police check and pre-employment medical assessment

Desirable: - Current First Aid Certificate
- Highly skilled with your hands, with a trade or practical background such as cabinet making, metalwork, carpentry, fabrication, manufacturing, or any hands-on production environment.
