Sales & Marketing Executive

THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a coordinator role with a fancy title. This is a genuine commercial position inside a fast-moving, growth-focused Australian agribusiness — one that supplies major grocery retailers and is actively building new channels, new categories, and new revenue streams.

From day one, you’ll own real customer relationships, drive the sales and marketing calendar, and be the link between a premium brand, the production floor, and the buying desks at Australia’s major food suppliers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Own day-to-day relationships with retailer buying and marketing teams — you’re the face of the brand in those conversations
  • Execute our joint customer business plan and own the promotional calendar end-to-end: planning, submissions, in-store activation, and performance tracking
  • Drive range reviews and joint business planning processes, contributing your own category insights
  • Collaborate with an external creative agency to bring trade marketing and brand activation to life
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends using category data tools to inform commercial decisions
  • Partner on forecasting and supply — connecting the commercial promise to operational reality

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • 5+ years’ experience in FMCG, fresh produce, or a supplier environment with direct exposure to major retailers
  • Solid understanding of how Coles, Woolworths, or major independent retailer systems work — from portal admin and pricing to range review processes
  • Commercial instincts: you understand margin, trade spend, the importance of acting fast, and think like a shopper to win at shelf
  • Strong communicator — comfortable presenting to buyers, liaising with a creative agency, or aligning internally with operations
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and deadlines simultaneously
  • Curious and proactive — you spot opportunities and back yourself to pursue them
