SIL House Manager

Our client is a growing disability support provider; they believe that strong leadership and clear systems create a stable home and better outcomes for participants.  They are currently looking for an experienced and confident SIL House Manager to lead one of the supported homes in Cranebrook.

About the Role
This role oversees the daily operations of a home supporting three participants, with a stable and established team of support workers.

One participant requires high-intensity supports, including PEG feeding and wound care. In this role, you will ensure these supports are delivered safely, consistently, and in accordance with clinical guidelines and NDIS requirements. This is a practical, hands-on leadership role where you will actively support both the team and participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the supported accommodation home
  • Lead, supervise, and support a dedicated team of support workers
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care that aligns with individual participant plans
  • Oversee the delivery of high-intensity supports, including PEG feeding and wound care
  • Monitor documentation, incident reporting, and compliance with NDIS Practice Standards
  • Coordinate staff rosters in collaboration with management
  • Participate in an on-call roster
  • Provide direct support when required to maintain safe staffing levels
  • Communicate and collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Support staff performance, development, and ongoing training
About You
  • Experience working in disability services, preferably within supported accommodation
  • Experience supporting participants with high-intensity needs
  • Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach
  • Confident decision-making and effective problem-solving skills
  • Certificate III in Community Services or Disability
