Our client is a global leader in traffic management systems. For more than 50 years they've been connecting vehicles with road infrastructure, making travel safe and convenient. An opportunity has now arisen for a motivated and reliable person to join their friendly team in a varied role that incorporates a combination of warehousing and electrical assembly duties.

The role:

This ongoing role is based in Rydalmere and features full-time hours of 7:30am-3:30pm (some flexibility is possible to start and finish times) Monday to Friday, earning $36hr + Super. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Warehousing duties including forklift operation, receiving stock, breaking down pallets, putaways, wrapping and strapping finished goods ready for dispatch, container unloading, and inventory management using a computer
  • Basic electrical assembly duties including selecting and installing electrical componentry such as housings, lights, wiring harnesses and other parts - working from parts diagrams, wiring schematics and technical drawings (full training and support is provided)
  • Testing and quality checking of components and finished goods
  • General housekeeping to maintain a clean and orderly environment
  • Other ad hoc tasks as requested
Essential requirements:
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in Australia
  • Availability for an immediate start
  • At least 1-2 years of warehousing experience, including operating a counterbalance forklift
  • Some experience in a basic assembly role
  • The ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers and crimpers, as well as basic power tools such as cordless screwdrivers
  • Reasonable level of computer, numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to read basic wiring schematics and assembly instructions
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift stock/parts
  • Must have Forklift (LF) licence
  • Own transport is strongly preferred
