Our client is looking for Store Person/Warehouse Assistants and will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of goods throughout the warehouse.
The position also provides essential support to production and packing operations by ensuring materials are available as required. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance with quality management systems, workplace health and safety requirements, and environmental standards.
- Temp-Perm role after 6 months
- $36/hour casual
- Hours of work: 8.00am to 4.00pm
- Immediate start
- Well established business located in Emu Plains
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all goods in the warehouse are correctly identified and labelled
- Thoroughly inspect merchandise for damages and discrepencies and report to management
- Ensure compliance with QA procedures
- Assist and participate in stocktakes
- Process return goods
- Load and unload trucks with forklift
- Assist in dispatch, WIP and any other general duties as requested
- Comply with WH&S and Environmental policies
Required Experience/Qualities: - Forklift licence - LO & LF is essential
- Drivers licence
- Strong high reach forklift experience
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Business Central software experience will be highly regarded
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of safety procedures
