Skills/Abilities:
- Strong strategic business understanding and commercial acumen, with awareness of current and emerging industry practices to maximise product sales within their assigned territory.
- Established exposure to, and solid relationships with, end users involved in the procurement of marine, industrial materials handling, and industrial fall-protection equipment.
- Robust decision-making skills and commercial judgement.
- A proven ability to build long-term client relationships that translate into direct sales revenue.
- An inquisitive mindset and natural curiosity.
- A strong drive to exceed performance expectations.
- A customer-centric approach paired with exceptional negotiation skills.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude (preferred).
- High levels of resilience, professionalism, and credibility, with the ability to actively listen to customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and comfort in navigating ambiguous challenges.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams while operating autonomously.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the national sales territory.
