The role:
Our Client is an Australian family-owned business that has been operating in the local area for the past 65 years. Due to their continued growth, they now require the services of an experienced Warehouse Co-Ordinator to join their team.
This is a permanent position Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pmThe Role: - Managing inventory, stock takes, cycle counts and raising orders as required
- Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations with the yard hands to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment & receivables.
- Supervising Yard Staff
- Liaising with marketing and assisting with trade shows
- Working with Suppliers
- Organising skip bins
- Organising car registrations and maintenance as required
- Deliveries and pick-ups
- Conduct regular toolbox talks
- Assist installers when and as required
- Organising workloads and jobs for installers
- Organising pick up from Suppliers
- Any other adhoc duties as required
- Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at a high level throughout the warehouse and yard
- Ensuring the yard is a safe working environment and optimising space utilisation
- Ensure quality service standards are compliant with internal and external stakeholders
- 95% of the role will be required on the floor vs 5% admin
Qualifications and Experience: - Previous experience in running a warehouse
- MR Truck license
- White card
- Forklift License - minimum 2 years of experience
- Possess a manual car license
- Must be computer literate
- You will be required to work outside
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proficient in EXCEL and Outlook
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Essential criteria: - Fit and healthy and capable of lifting heavy loads
- Manual Drivers license
- MR License or willingness to obtain one
- White card
- Forklift License - minimum 2 years of experience
- Previous Supervisory experience
