Warehouse Coordinator
A well-established, family-owned and operated company that's been trading for many years, they're dedicated to offering a line-up of top-quality products to their customers. This is a permanent role based in Blacktown with hours of 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
About the role:
Your primary objective will be ensuring an efficient and enjoyable delivery experience for the end customer, as well as providing administrative support to the internal despatch/warehousing team.
- Maintaining stock levels in the store/workshop
- Cross checking of picked orders, ensuring accuracy
- Preparation and printing of despatch-related paperwork
- Booking transport
- Communicating with customers and sales reps via phone and email
- Daily meetings with the supply chain and customer service teams
- Planning stock transfers to other company-owned warehouses
- Forklift operation
- Picking and packing orders where required
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Local pickups and deliveries using company ute
- Basic computer use
- Regular lifting up to 20 kg's
- General housekeeping
What do you need to apply?:
- Experience in a similar role
- A current driver's license and own transport (due to limited public transport options)
- A current LF forklift license
- A great attitude and team player
- Good customer service
- Good computer skills
- A stable work history - we're looking for a committed employee
