About The CompanyAn Australian-owned leader in the industry, they design and manufacture a range of safety barriers and equipment.
Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced boilermaker, fabricator or welder to join their friendly and supportive team in the Rooty Hill area.
Your New RoleYou will be working on complex projects from start to finish, working independently as well as within a team in an open-planned workshop on-site.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Welding and fabrication
- Reading plans
- Ensuring the welding area and workshop remain clean and organised
- Use of other equipment and machines within the workshop (training provided) - these include guillotines, brake presses, CNC laser and lathes etc
- Assisting the team in all areas where possible
About You - Cert 3 in Engineering/Heavy Fabrication or equivalent trade such as welding is preferred but not essential
- Min. 3 years of experience in a similar role and industry post-trade
- Proficient MIG welding capabilities (TIG welding is a bonus)
- The ability to read plans
- LF forklift is a distinct advantage
- Take genuine pride in your work
