Our client has been in business for 45 years and are looking for 2 Welders/Fabricators to join their team. The position is a full-time permanent role with all equipment to be supplied by the company. They pride themselves on providing quality work to their customers and are looking to grow their team.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities: - Perform TIG and MIG welding on light-gauge tube and sheet metal assemblies
- Weld and fabricate pipework and components in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining required quality standards
- Conduct self-inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance of finished products
- Complete job reports and timesheets accurately and on time
- Support senior fabricators with complex assemblies as needed
- Carry out general cutting and forming tasks as directed
Required Experience: - Proven TIG welding ability on light-gauge materials (practical assessment required)
- Competent in MIG welding techniques
- Minimum second-year apprenticeship completed or equivalent training
- Able to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Confident communicator, able to work effectively with customers and team members
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
Desirable: - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade
- Experience with mild steel, ACMS steel or stainless steel
