What’s it all about?
Based at our client’s workshop in the Penrith area, you will join a skilled team responsible for the testing, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of machine tools.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Fitter and Machinist with strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems. It is a full-time position with one of Australia’s most trusted machine tool suppliers, offering flexible working arrangements that may allow you to choose your days and hours, provided all work requirements are met.
What will you need to do the role?
• Experience with the repair and maintenance of Machine Tools is highly desirable
• Fitter Machinist/Engineering trade certificate
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Current motor vehicle license
• Experience in hydraulics, ability to read hydraulic drawings, fault finding and maintenance
