Your New Company With over 30 years of experience, our client is a leading wholesaler and has been dedicated to supplying an extensive range of top-quality, ethically sourced products and materials to support their customer's specific needs and requirements.
Your New Role Our client is looking for a friendly and efficient Accounts Payable Administrator who has a strong team player focus and isn’t afraid to pitch in and help team members in other departments when required.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and entering invoices for payment
- Recording received payments and allocating funds
- Daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations including international transfers (AUD/USD)
- Matching freight charges to deliveries and invoices
- Data entry into the SAP system
- Monitoring incoming payments
- Coordination of shipping and receipt of goods, including printing labels, checking shipping documentation and other administration tasks for the Warehouse
- General office tasks such as opening mail, answering incoming calls and redirecting as needed
- Liaison with other departments to communicate any shipping delays
- Any other adhoc administration duties when required
About You: - Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role within a similar industry
- Exposure to currency conversion and costings is an advantage
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite and Excel skills (including creation & modification of formulas)
- Experience and competency in the use of the SAP system is preferred, but not essential
- The ability to multi-task
- Highly adaptable and flexible
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills
- A current driver's license and your own reliable vehicle (limited public transport)
