Your New Role
  
Our client is looking for a friendly and efficient Accounts Payable Administrator who has a strong team player focus and isn’t afraid to pitch in and help team members in other departments when required.
  
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing and entering invoices for payment
  • Recording received payments and allocating funds
  • Daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations including international transfers (AUD/USD)
  • Matching freight charges to deliveries and invoices
  • Data entry into the SAP system
  • Monitoring incoming payments
  • Coordination of shipping and receipt of goods, including printing labels, checking shipping documentation and other administration tasks for the Warehouse
  • General office tasks such as opening mail, answering incoming calls and redirecting as needed
  • Liaison with other departments to communicate any shipping delays
  • Any other adhoc administration duties when required
  
About You: 
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role within a similar industry
  • Exposure to currency conversion and costings is an advantage
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite and Excel skills (including creation & modification of formulas)
  • Experience and competency in the use of the SAP system is preferred, but not essential
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Highly adaptable and flexible
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • A current driver's license and your own reliable vehicle (limited public transport)
