CNC Laser Operator
About Our Client:Our client is a well-established business producing high-quality products, with a strong focus on developing their team. They are located in the Woodcroft area.
The Role:
Working 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday in a permanent role, you will operate the CNC laser, as well as a counterbalance forklift when required (if licenced). You will hit the ground running using your previous CNC laser experience, but will eventually be trained up on a range of other CNC machines.
Each day you will:
- Set and operate the CNC laser
- Ensure quality using regular checks and a final inspection
- Operate a counterbalance forklift (if licenced)
- Ensure your workspace is tidy through general housekeeping
- Assist in other areas of the business as needed
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will possess at a minimum the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience operating a CNC laser is essential
- Current LF forklift ticket is strongly preferred
- You will be reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
