Our client is a distinguished, wholly Australian-owned company established in the 1980s, renowned for delivering premium wet area products and services to the construction industry
We have an exciting ongoing opportunity for an experienced CNC Operator to join their team.
Key duties include:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery
- Cutting and shaping compact laminates to job specifications and drawings
- Completing QA process and regular maintenance checks
- Assist with loading, unloading and handling compact laminate sheets safely
- Heavy liffting
- Use a tablet or computer to record material usage and hours in the company ERP system
- Attend daily toolbox talks at 7am
- May be trained and required to assist in other areas of the factory as operational needs arise
To succeed, you'll need: -
Current driver's licence and own transport - Experience with CNC Machinery and wood joinery
- Experience working with compact laminate materials
- Ability to read and understand G-code
- Physically capable of handling heavy materials and standing for long periods
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not necessary
- Computer literacy
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well under pressure
