Our client has more than 25 years experience in Premium E-Commerce & Fulfilment Services. Located in Eastern Creek. The company promotes positive working relationships and is now looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the team.

About You:
  • At least 2-3 years experience as a warehouse supervisor 
  • Punctuality
  • Attendance
  • People and team building skills: This will be the most important attribute
  • Proactive and able to act promptly when required
  • Able to forecast and plan to minimize uncontrollable for the staff and/or the company
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Can confidently engage with internal and external customers
  • Able to apply the firm but fair approach without risking deteriorating the employee relationship
The role:
  • Responsible for approximately 15 to 30 staff
  • Manage day to day orders 
  • Bulk picking the day’s allocated order stock
  • Managing stock to be staged correctly for the picking team
  • Refer to the daily calendar to pre the team on what deliveries / pick ups are due, which staff are away, and any other news for that day.
  • Ensure trucks delivering and collecting are attended to as per SOP. i.e. 
  • Ensure the warehouse runs the respective checks with Client Services when there are delivery / collection issues.
  • Ensure the requested Labour Hire staff have arrived at work, and make sure to communicate with the agencies when there are agent issues.
  • Ensure SOPs are followed. To identify staff that may need training or follow up discussions regarding any work issues.
  • Work with the warehouse coord(s) and Client services to address any issues.  them and the warehouse.
  • Ensure the receiving and returns are being processed in a timely manner. 
  • Monitor cage and pallet supplies from the freight forwarders. 
  • Monitor the job tickets’ dates, FIFO, and raise the alarm when there are delays.
  • Ensure all staff, especially forklift operators, are following the strict safety guidelines. There is 0 tolerance for intentional dangerous conduct.
  • Monitor checklists of key staff.
  • Document KPIs, compliance information, stock issues, staff issues, and the respective items they should be reporting on.
  • Deal with vendors; i.e Freight reps, fork repair vendors and other 3rd parties that we engage.
