  • Ongoing casual role 2-3 days a week (view to permanency)

About The Client:

Our client has a small, specialised suite of custom-designed corporate governance software packages that meet the Governance, Risk and Compliance needs of various businesses and organisations.
Due to their continued growth and success, they are currently looking for a part-time web developer to expand their technical team.

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Web Developer with extensive PHP, MySQL and JavaScript knowledge. Primarily your new role will include assisting the director with adding new functionalities to their current software and correcting bugs.

You must be willing and able to work remotely from home with your own office setup (a laptop will be provided) as the team works remotely.

Key Criteria:

  • Experience with language programs such as PHP (object-orientated), MySQL, JavaScript (including AJAX), HTML and CSS
  • Subversion knowledge
  • Some familiarity with Unix-based systems (command line access)
  • Experience in debugging issues, identifying solutions, and testing software
  • Experience writing user-help articles is desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to take direction
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Your own at-home office set up
