Workshop Supervisor/Welder

• $85,000 - $93,000 + super

Australian-owned national height safety company. They design, manufacture, and install safety access systems, working predominately on industrial and commercial buildings across Australia.

What you will need:

• Welding or fabrication qualifications are a must
• Extensive experience in the fabrication and welding of aluminium components 
• Proven leadership experience is a MUST for you to succeed in this role
• Current forklift license and driver's license are ESSENTIAL
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Intermediate computer literacy skills e.g. Internet-based applications, MS Office and Outlook
• A passion for change and a drive to deliver the best outcome for all stakeholders – employees, customers, end users

Your new permanent role  - Workshop Supervisor

• Responsible for allocating and managing workflow for the production team (mostly Welders and Fabricators) 
• Review and update documentation as required
• Liaise with the engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure materials and components are available to ensure efficient production flow 
• Ensure all work is being completed safely and all employees are adhering to HR and WH&S policies and procedures
• Some manual handling and forklift operation involved
• Conduct pre-welding checks (where required), post-welding inspections, and quality acceptance checks on all completed fabricated components
